Carpen Wood Fishery is a family run fishery, comprising of 2 lakes set in secluded woodland. The Lakes have been established for over thirty years, and have recently undergone maintenance and restocking. Carpen Wood Fishery is a private fishery. We run the fishery on a booking only system, this ensures that you get no interruptions, no over crowding and a good fishing session.

Here at Carpen Wood Fishery, we want to maintain a balanced fishery that will be ideal for pleasure anglers as well as specimen hunters. We have been open to the public since 2005. After a very successful first year we are pleased to open for an even better 2006!

The biggest fish caught to date was a 21lb 8oz Common Carp by Joe from Kent, he caught this personal best using a single sweet corn on a size 14 hook along with 5lb line. He was on peg 1 and cast under a tree overlapping the bank.
